Maladie bactérienne causée par Pasteurella. Elle se caractérise par une cellulite locale et peut entraîner d'autres signes cliniques selon la voie d'infection. La transmission chez l'homme se fait généralement par contact direct par morsure, griffure ou léchage d'un animal infecté, par inhalation de sécrétions respiratoires infectées ou par ingestion de viande contaminée.
