A vine, native to Asia, bearing edible fruit known as kiwifruit. A perennial plant native to Asia. Kiwifruit pulp contains about a hundred edible seeds.

Liane cultivée pour son fruit le kiwi. La pulpe du kiwi contient une centaine de graines comestibles. L'actinidia est cultivé comme un arbuste (culture pérenne). L'actinidia est originaire de chine mais cette plante a été acclimatée en France continentale en particulier au bassin de l'Adour.
