DEFINITION
- Vaccin élaboré à partir d’un microorganisme qui a été tué (par la chaleur, le formol, etc.) mais qui peut néanmoins provoquer une réponse immunologique en stimulant la production d’anticorps protecteurs et/ou l’immunité cellulaire lorsqu’il est inoculé chez un animal.
