DEFINITION
- L'échantillonnage est la sélection d'une partie dans un tout: lorsqu'on ne peut pas saisir un événement dans son ensemble (soit parce que cela n'est pas possible, soit déraisonnable), il faut effectuer des mesures en nombre fini, afin de représenter l'événement. La stratégie d'échantillonnage comprend l'ensemble des choix opérés pour l'échantillonnage. Ces choix se répartissent en deux grandes catégories selon qu'ils concernent le plan d'échantillonnage ou les méthodes d'échantillonnage (F ARCHAUX CEMAGREF)
